15 plus years experience at playing Santa..a cut back...the fun the Christmas stuff brought a lot of people too..
If out on the tractor and trailer, you get almost every car tooting and waving and stopping to give kids a sweet was great fun, now nothing, a shame on them..

We've reached 5.1 mm with the temp slowly dropping to around 5c.
Nursey tomorrow and I rather stupidly ordered some stuff from the big river place, part of which arrives before 1pm, oh boy...

Wouldn't "Dog Breath" be an oral treatment, not an injection? I'd question her credentials. Can't have her giving you a shot when it's not required! Couldn't you fall asleep, making her think you're comatose.
Leave it full, but with an extra lock on it. You've not been told "No" to keeping the contents safe and secure, have you.

You don't want to put too much trust in rumours. I mean, you never know who started them...
You've a chance to try before the big day, you might get past her. That's part of the problem nowadays, brought up questioning everything and told not to believe any of it. They've taken the magic out of it. You need to set yourself up in a grotto, see if she does twig you. Especially if you "appear" waiting outside, after she's had a slight delay inside.
Someone local is supposed to be doing something along similar lines with a small flatbed, down here on Monday. They reckon on a £1,000 to cover the cost.
Shame on them nowadays though. And then they complain that kids don't appreciate christmas these days.

Snow or the holidays?
Mrs M watches the news, they have promised snow, mostly for darn sarff.
It's just accepted we get it up here..
Think we'll ask for 2 - 3 cms darn sarff and gridlock the place, just for ***ts and giggles, eh?

I couldn't deny them the goodies...Mrs M came in a drawer refill in a bag t'other day...she knows who the bosses are.

My ex-employers had a great thing going around Christmas,
I'll never forget the Santa visit I did at a local religious place, a sen citz party, wow, the whispered suggestions? made even me blush....
in between 'job' they toured the estates and the kids who came out to get their photos taken? great fun (and lots of OT)..

Big river parcel due...4 stops away so handy.. more PLA..
I'm doing stuff for a radio ham pal, all test pieces which get tweaked as we go...almost at the final pieces.

Delivered 8.40, unfortunately another one this afternoon as well, I've had 8 days of 9 hrs per day twinkling line of fairy lights still going on 4 of their AA grey Basic alkaline batteries, not bad considering, methinks...they were still going last night at timer switch off...

Got soldering to do at weekend, I meant to do it yesterday but got so tied in on other things (not literally).
I hear a rumbling way far in the distance approaching....

Snow, you can then teach Toodles how to build a snowman for the youngest. You doing the supervising of course.
They've been promising it were gonna fall here for the last month, we're down to 3" from "over 12" when first promised. Why not just enough so it starts sticking on their last day at work. Have 'em worried about getting home and for it to appear on the news as "heavy snow with drifting in places", with cars sliding all over the place in the background for the dramatic effect?

Managed to miss it when out, phew..

The vet checked me over and gave me six jags along my left arm..
Says 'Bob's okay',
cost me three shortbread stars...

Tried snowing earlier. Conditions almost right for it at the time. Warmed slightly now, putting an end to snow tonight.

Off early to the W coast..
Did what we had to do then off for a bit of lunch,
sat at the 'Splash', Esplanade and enjoyed the low cloud over the hilltops to the N.
Then back home....

Nice quiet run through although m/way busier on the way home, quieter after Glesca.....
Peace ruined almost after we arrived back,
Oldest Toodle wondered what I was doing when talking to some one on the radio (Poland)
Meanwhile I reckon over a dozen jags today....

DJ? stopped when I returned back up the river to my old stomping ground, visions of moving to the capitol city but the future Mrs M ended up through on the W coast...the rest is history.

Kids love fruit, costs me a fortune for a weeks lot but they wolf it down....

Changed AA batteries on the flashing fairy lights out the back, 9 or 10 days out of four of them, 9 hours per day.. still had some power in them.

Been dry but cloudy, no current bun today, 7.9c just now..

I caught up in some older stull posted by some of them I subscribe too, tonight more likely the same.
