Balmy 8.6c and rain earlier..
Almost normality...
Kinda dulls the want to party all weekend..
Owdo, you including me in that there fine people?
Damp, no rain as such since last night. Supposed to warm up this weekend, before finishing as it started.
You having a party, you kept that quiet.
You still up to partying all weekend...

New mode all together, two seconds flat I think..
Been waiting to try a now shade of PLA, either my nozzle is needing replaced or it's a roll of dung, more thoughts more on the latter TBH.
Will try once more....

Sod that, been a long set of months...
I might be able to jive again....
Low lying hills are being read up on...
We'll see wot 'appens..
Cuppa awaits..
Where'd it been hiding all this time, do you know. Two seconds the amount of time you had it?
You'd not long since replaced the nozzle, if I remember correctly. Would the PETG you'd problems with have left a present for you...
If at first you don't succeed...

I can sympathise with yer predicament, always good to be told they don't need to see you any more.
Show the Twins all yer old moves.
How low are these low lying hills yer reading up on, and what do the books say about them.
Onwards and upwards bar on the descent of course.
Whotever appens, appens appen.
Cuppa, at home!

Been a long time since Bob was a party animal (ever?)
6.9 mm so far, almost 10c as well.

I'd a repeat scenario with another PLA so off to the kitchen table with printer,
a shiny new nozzle replaced and a rubber 'protection' thingy replaced, I found my 'tools for the nozzle change' after a couple of prowls around Bob's areas. Once I'd changed the nozzle, a quick extrusion test and off back into its designated place, a self level and I used the last Z setting, 1.75. the re-levelling suggested 1.63..
I'd fallen for that before but sure enough the first layer looked a bit out so 1.63 it was and voila, the print advised me it would take 1 day 21 hrs and so many minutes, can't remember now how much it took, I never looked tut tut.
Only one return to set up now..
All my spools bar one are in tight sealed clear plastic tubs and looking nice on a cleared shelf.
I removed the rubber (can't remember its name) and no gunged up PLA or PETG clogging anything so even better, I think I know the culprit so no more of it. PLA it was funnily enough. I'll catch the extra parts tomorrow at some part.
Cold cider in front of me...

Never a party animal, and you an ex DJ. Did you do no all nighters at that fading holiday camp!
Pushed into low double figures here as well.
Don't think we've had as much precipitation as yerself.

That nozzle didn't last long. Does the change of material you're using require a change of nozzle or increase the wear rate I wonder. Was the "dodgy nozzle" behind your recent problems I wonder.
Very small changes make a big difference it seems.
Nearly two days to print! What yer printing?
Any silica in the tubs keeping the contents dry.
Neatly marked with the colour, date and material no doubt.
Does the material feed straight through with no snagging. You think you know the culprit. You've done all that and aren't certain...
Extra parts required, now you've me wondering what yer printing.
Yer sat down now...

Tubs are clear so, I can look at the label (facing the top) for information.
I do have a wee fancy label maker but above is the best idea,
good idea to put date purchased on the label, good thinking Batman..
I changed a setting after getting that time,
The best so far is a 'hop' which takes the nozzle assembly up off the print as it has to move elsewhere so hopefully no 'dragging' across the surface already printed
I've the 'bits ' for yesterdays print on the go now, one more part to print, I may try again with the new nozzle in place...
if not, bloke can choose another colour as not buying full spool to print 9m of filament, it was a freebie anyway (they all are really), got me further on in the tweaks and right settings though.
Yeah, the main body printed as well as expected so back on track...

Mrs M out das einkaufen...
Must have a coffee ready for her....

Yes, silica is in the tubs,
I have a drier for the filament,
wondering now where i have put it.
I found a litre of Southern Comfort tucked away so tonight is sorted ( a couple, maybe)..
I'm on a slow spring clean..
I better get up to snail pace again

Morning all :hello:
The day of rest (other faiths are available) again.
Grounded myself as still slowly losing the lurgy..
Stay cool, stay dry (outside):cuppa:
Owdo
Think they all have a "Day of Rest" somewhere in their week.
Not got shot of it yet. I think it must have been Man Flu and not mere lurgy. In which case take it easy.
You'll be staying inside anyway. Round these parts, if outside the wind will do the cooling.

It's not one of those fancy Dymo label printers by any chance is it?
Thought you'd have the date on the labels already to be honest. Something simple that you can easily change as the contents change, should be easy to make something.
I think I'd have done the same seeing that time displayed. How far did you manage to reduce the time? Wouldn't the "hop" have been included in the basic printer program, for when it was moving but not printing.
A day behind with yer work, yer slacking somewhat...
Do the whole lot again you mean. Not one of yer lucky cats. Can't say I blame you fer not buying another reel, just to use part and have it lying around, trying to get you to use it for something.

She get anything for you?
Did you have the coffee waiting for her in exchange...

How'd you lose a drier...
Hidden in one of yer filament tubs. You sure you were meant to find it this early in the year.
Purely medicinal purposes of course...
If you do the spring cleaning now, what'll tha do when spring gets here! Pace yerssen...
Let the snail win, just the once.

Drier is here somewhere, I'll find it at some point.
Funnily all these cats and not A PETG one....
Mm, I got a really bright yellow one, watch this space:wacko:

I got something nutty,
Yes, coffee was ready..

As inside the house, on yer first dry day...
Bright and early, with a visit to either a GC or McD's for breakfast.
Tidied rubbish away, not thrown away. Odd way of doing things up there. Printing go okay, with all yer recent work paying off.

Not many of them left now. Electronic versions seem to have taken over.
They always seemed to be.
Do they always send their newest stock out, or do they get rid of old stock at discount prices?
Probably when yer looking for summat else, it'll turn up.
Maybe yer cat collection requires a PETG one to balance yer luck using it.
I await yer PETG cat...

Snickers, or were they trying to tell you something...
Was it enjoyed with a biscuit, or two.

Just a McCafe, like the one I got earlier...
Mrs M used her points to get something too..
She has a few points left so more to pillage:cuppa:

I know my latest is fresh stock as they must got a delivery cause that colour had been missing just over a week ago...
Some time in the drier if need be (if I find it:laugh:)

The cat is one of the top test pieces along with Benchy..so I may get round to one at one point...
I'm just spending the time playing with this new mode and using a programme I don't usually use...I've a full set of colours of them.
Kids love playing with them...Mauro

I've got too many ideas revolving in my head...

You've been before and after!
That were nice of her. You enjoy it.
You'd never pillaging someone else's points, would you.

And it's yer latest is what were used.
You not found it yet. How hard can it be to find.
Not the top test piece, above Benchy. Will it set yer printer to rest, letting it print okay for you.
You have time for playing around. I'd be careful who hears that lest they get ideas that you've time on yer hands. New mode is on yer printer I take it.
Big kids as well as small kids?

Keep a firm grip on yer head, just in case those idea try escaping.

We share everything, mines is hers and hers is hers....

It's not as if it is small, either..
I saw it last week but more likely put on a shelf in the garage.

Nah, new data mode and it's rapid, auto logging program needed TBH,
It is very flaky just now but we'll see, plenty across the globe using it..
The land of the funny shaped nut just worked.
Funny I just joined the channel where chat goes on about it and the guy who has forked it is literally getting little problems and is fixed it on the run, new versions once bug sorted is uploaded etc etc...
As there is no international standard yet for the node, you can't really upload it to any award etc system logs. It has to passed then integrated, I've passed 100 so wondering I could save the file or just hang on and see what happens.
Off to install Linux Mint on an old laptop (not dancer)
