I see one or two old PLAs are going in the bin, I'll get some refills and first refillable spool is being printed just now, well the biggest half of it, still an hour to go but pt2 done before big river place early delivery tomorrow.
Youngest g/kid got her first balance bike, will be fun watching her on it, her sister got her first 'real' one the other day.

Past their use by date, or simply gone "rotten" on you? I had you down as someone who'd not throw money away. Refills come cheap, or are they like printer inks, more than the printer is worth, but not cheap enough that you can manage with the cheaper versions.
Half hour to go, must be nearly done by now.
How early is an an "early delivery" up there...

You giving them lessons. And more importantly, do they look as though they'll leave you standing oncthey get going.

Early start today..
Weedkiller applied on most of the hard surface, some weeds left for trying my home made mix....
TBH not ideal conditions but got busy in the lulls..
Lazy day although we may have little visitors later..

Best sprayed before the sun reaches the area anyway. Home made mix, if it works will you be selling it...
Lulls already, wots tha doing lad...
The sun is shining, the skies are blue and yer at a loss as to what to do...
Little visitors big enough to come on their own now. Especially when they have their own transport.

No, totally different idea..
I haven't had too much of a delve into it all yet...
Maker website does refill packs of PLA BUT I need refill spools so No1 (part2) is almost printed, 33 mins to go.
Turned out the spool of PLA I was using was the first I've had with dodgy winding but got a message flashing up to go fix it so handy dandy, they are reasonably priced for refills, D-I-L advised it's the most reasonable way forward, discounts on bulk buys so will see but if buying spooled 1kgs they are supplied with refillable spools so a catch 22 I may look at. In PLA, air and moisture can affect, PETG is best used for outside, I could use any old PETG for plant pot stands...
I do have a drier for drying ( bit obvious that bit Bob, Ed.)

We are now in the EU officially.....
Big River Place must have changed schedule for 7-1 in this area, I have always been really early delivered to , oh well, I'll play radio, do some domestics and Mrs M has been out in the garden.

Blimey, they'll sell you what you need to make the spools, but not the spools. Be fun starting out, "first, print your spool, then wind the appropriate material onto the spool before printing". It'll be done by now then. I bet they sell a spool winder as well. What about a reel to reel tape recorder, adapted to take a spool and the "raw" unspooled stuff?
Handy enough for the machine to know you'd wound it wrong. Clockwise instead of anticlockwise no doubt. Did D.I.L. not have a spare spool you could have had. Can I take it yer printer doesn't take 1Kg reels/spools, hence yer winding issues.

I'd say similar down here. Doing what they do in Southern California for this time tomorrow.
A tagalong and you could have them there in no time, especially on yer new cycleway.

I'm tied up before a free weekend so no order until Sat or Sun, will look at spools lying there and see what I can print off spool wise even if each side is a different colour.

No update on THE package, apparently still in the Doos of Burg, they better hurry as they promise to pay me four of the best British pounds if arrives on the 29th May or beyond..
I'm not that excited.

I'm kicking myself I didn't buy the multi colour option, oh well.

And when yer old stock is used up, they become obsolete...
I'd seen it at the local Currys, when they were doing a demonstration day. Nowt on spools available to buy, from them. All loosely coiled awaiting the spools. Didn't do a very good job on the day. One kept on blowing a fuse, another did everything but what they said it would do.
How long does 300 metres last, once you start printing.

Would that be by appointment only...

It'll turn up on the last day they have before they have to pay a penny.

Nearby depot sounds a lot better than yer other package.
