Wrong turns, just turn around and retrace yer steps. Three common names down one side of the family, for the men, Jack, John and Thomas. Nearly twenty sharing them over the years, makes it interesting trying to work out which one when dates are missing.

If yer on another island, contact isn't easy keep. Not kept in contact with one side, so apart from odd ones that hit the headlines, they're lost and a lot harder trace.

The bunging of another increase would be the bugbear for me. Especially if a major part of what you were paying for disappeared with the previous rise.
Fuel price increases are starting to hit in America now, so could be one reason for another increase. They never seem to lower the price when things get cheaper again though.
