GC's for brekkie? They're saying the heatwave is over now, no more over 25°C days. 14 days of temperatures over that, and it's the end.
Intense from earlyish, what happened to yer lie-in!
You got yer feet up, resting?

Nope, no brekkie this AM...
I never bothered, up to do some hard brushing before the sun came over the yardarm..
Radio and lunch then a 30 min spell of something decking related..
THEN feet and all extremities up.....
and an ice lolly for being good...

Out looking for decking oil stain type stuff, most places were out but I'd a money off so took advantage of it but we did one of our usual wee tours before heading home
One decking to do so think a late lunch first then prepare a couple of bits.
As long as it is done before the rain appears, I see the Mutt Off now declare less than 5% or rain every hour..
Out looking, not intending to buy? Out of stock or out of price range... Money off vouchers, you seem to do well with them. Accidental tour or did you experiment with throwing in a left turn for the unexpected...
Don't go oiling yerssen into a corner, especially if there's rain on the way. Or an early tea?
The Mutt Off don't seem to be doing very well of late, "warm day" aside. So take what they're saying with a pinch of salt.

Happy oiling...

No brekkie this AM, you planning on having it this PM...
Hard labour with no brekkie, that shouldn't be allowed.
The sun made it above yer yardarm then.
Radio and lunch, together no doubt. Decking oiled in under thirty minutes...
All extremities up. Must make eating the ice lolly awkward.

It's actually handy as it stops the drips..
Kids love them...and me.
Yeah, no breakfast at all, just a brunch with nothing exciting..
Had my home grown spuds for tea, didn't realise they were a floury spud but they'll do.
Beer time

They said there were going to be a bit o' "Boom Banga, Bang" in these ere parts Wednesday gone. Neither heard nor saw any of it, nor a drop of rain... IF it does decide to have a downpour here, there'll be one or two disappointed. First day of the school holidays tomorrow.

You were on yer hands n'knees this afternoon then. On the deck, but not out for round two.
One of the few things you don't do very well then, suppleness... You expecting to be paying for it later?
Quiet down here as well. V. quiet...
Maybe there is summat on the telly, any idea what it might be.

How's it stop the drips. Might stop them hitting you as you eat it though.
The kids probably love you for trying to eat them with yer extremities in the air. Gives them more time to have a go at eating yours first.
They say you shouldn't skip breakfast. They say it's the most important meal of the day. Not good for you... None exciting brunch, enjoy it?
Were these another lot you'd pulled or those you pulled the other day. Better than none.
Is it that time already...

It appears the Mutt Office weren't right again. No downpours overnight, or looking likely for today. Coming in from the NW, I doubt we'd get wet first anyway.
Whilst the heatwave maybe over, the fine weather continues. Not school summer holiday weather at all.

Afternoon :hello:
Up with the larks today,
decking painted just after 8ish,
long handled 6-inch brush, the business, around 40 mins so nifty..
I'm even keen to lay down another coat:ohmy:
Off out later for a celebratory breakfast, do I really need an excuse?
Have a nice day, and stay cool..

The larks didn't mind you waking them then.
Painted, I thought tha were oiling it. Thus making it very easy to move on.
What time did you start for an eight finish...
You patented yer long handle paintbrush design yet? The money could come rolling in...
If I were thee, I'd just be lying down, the coat underneath not on top.
Celebratory, you'll be found something else to do. So don't celebrate too soon... Have you ever needed an excuse?
I'll try, on both counts. You enjoy yer afternoon brekkie.

Is that what you did and it started raining up in those parts.
IF it does get here today, it'll not be here long.

Touching 30c here, but the breeze takes the edge of it. Light rain! You need a flood of biblical proportions* to water yer garden. Did they say which Friday though.

I'm a firm believer in eating. Just that what might be breakfast for me might be supper for someone else.
Remember, yer to miss lunch today!!
Yer brekkie were late...

Oil 'painted' on...
Looks good and tbh, I reckon that coat will do,
Maybe late Sept or Oct another coat...

Mrs M wanted to tie a brush to a brush handle but I thought a cheapo one, which worked a treat so all cleaned (the brush) and getting packed by once its finally dry...
Next job? a stetch of fencing slats and posts, got it divided into 4 year cycle, back to a 3 or 2 inch brush for that, one or two panels per day?

Bleeding overwhelming even at 20 plus,
little 'un spent a couple of hours with us this afternoon,
getting too used to ice lollies and crisps (and leaving me with none )

Painting oil on, there's always another way of doing the same job.
You feel yer days labours will see you through for another few months. It'll be colder, possibly wetter as well. And it'll need doing...

Not always easier, glad you stuck to yer guns and gave your idea a go before trying summat else. Can I take it your idea was to use a sweeping brush to do yer oil painting. Don't think Picasso tried that.
"Wax on wax off" is yer preferred method for yer uprights.
One or two panels a day, how long'll that take you. Especially in this current heat.

Mutt Office are saying new heatwave due by the end of the week.
She get given a brush and told to muck in?
She's eating yer ice lollies whilst yer working. That's plain unfair, as for leaving you with none, that's just not on...
Yer stuck logging...

I've done every 12-month thing for years, seems to work.
Mrs M says it's okay...who am I to argue..
More of a 6 inch paste brush type but hey it worked a treat, I'm all for that, app 40 mins for a previous down on my knees 120 mins plus? no contest, maybe in a year or two a Tootle could do it for an ice cream or something (nah, not really but I can hope)

Young Ms and Mrs M heading as I write,
Wonder if I'm allowed out?

One computer wants to update all sorts of updates this morning.
No radio played yet....
Survey done and so close to payment total....

I see little red numbers, so I guess someone is replying to my first post, Dipsy ? LaLa ? Po?
