I headed out on Polly, an exhausting 7.something miles
I got to a point and nah, I won't today, 'why not?' 'too long a drag uphill', 'go on' so I did, I got the mucky grassy part done but hit the wall a few times further on, forestry work is going on so I stopped casually to have a look (a good excuse)

The Da Vinci piece?
I goggled the name and got "Security Systems".
Smaller nozzle = better finish?
And the real time printing was how long compared to estimated time...
I'm not knocking it. It does look good, there's no disputing that. And no supports required it seems. less cleaning up before assembly.
I can see eyes turning towards it...

I did deviate when it was the 'rings' and did them a different colour and using a normal .4 nozzle.
Next time? all done with .4....

Normal 1, Sport 1.3 and Ludicrous 1.6..
Did I post this before?

Best always doing first layer (s) at low speed as it's the bed..

Freewheeled home no doubt. You break the wall down, or climb it. Nowt wrong with stopping to see how someone's doing something. Especially if there's machinery involved.

You've posted something similar. What was it you were making, just the shape seems odd.

I could have finished the last km downhill but due to tree work going on in the wood, it's a track that heads in and they were throwing down some stuff to top up the depressions and the lorry took the whole track area, bloke did offer to move to let me through but after a quick chat, I pedalled back and took another path out, one I am not keen on due to reasonable drop and lots of loose aggregate.
My wee pegs felt it today

Speed is okay if you aren't doing any techy stuff like slight overhangs, I'm more than happy to use bog standard speed.
You can change all the settings if you feel like it.
I have Ironing settings but don't use this often. Smoother finish on the top layers.
Take a figure of 10 for the .4 nozzle (standard), the smaller .2 would be twice the time, .8 nozzle would be half the time, complicating it all, is a .6 one too. I haven't bothered reading into nozzles. .2 tend to have some problems allegedly.

Must look and see size of 'nozzle' they use to 3D print homes...

What's the "ironing" do?
Is there a 0.1 or 1.0 nozzle. Give a sequence to their sizing, and what you could expect from the rest.

If I built it up even with instructions, anyone can.
I put it off for a day and a half before attacking it.

The creator did supply a pdf file with photies etc.
I'll miss on buildings, fickle wx in these parts...

Ironing? it can 'smooth' the final surface on certain prints,
I haven't explored nozzle sizes tbh, todays google.
Hotends are the same size, just nozzle size.

Me? I just shrug, kick the invisible cat and work it out whilst having a good ole moan about it.
I just follow the bog-standard setting TBH,
On the last printer,
I slowed down the first layers speed as it starts it all off...

I'm off to GLA with youngest this morning, not the airport just a massive, big warehouse place for cakes...

Refuse delivery, it's early getting to you. That or leave it unopened till it's time. How come you've condensation on the inside of the windows, thought you'd triple glazing.
If you disappear, will you know when to reappear.
