Ow'dtha manage that.I missed this, it seems..
Total length was the wind thing, I more likely put it down wrong, if you think about it, those three wee cups on the wind gauge (I know the name but I can't spel ti) that is some amount of spinning to get to that, 97.6 km today, wind speed average since the night of mid is 14 km.. highest 45 kph, dominant from the N. Other WX reports are available elsewhere but that is the Towers.
I tried gorilla stuff on the Falcon of the Millenium but nah, PLA is a different beast apparently it seems. Yer lady dog is almost there, two colours to go, 6 in all. The shortest time wise, I had an end spool of the white and I judged it well, almost 1ft left after parts printed.
Yon beeping from battery failing on fire alarm was going since about 2am, I finally cracked and got up and replaced it and just stayed up. Toast for brekkie today.
I totally forgot about the early change over to basic time so now I can log in real time.
First job after alarm was set all manual clocks to proper time, let's say it'll be busy out there for the public services..
I once (or many more times) knew the feeling, the call 'Any chance you can come out?'..
A few cars and some hardy dogwalkers, neighbours been shopping on foot so life is almost normal, plenty of leaves blowing by 9.35
Well if it were correctly entered it never made the news.
Three cups going round and round, always just round and round...
60mph! Any damage done? Took mi anemometer out last night, got gusts in the mid 30's(mph). Was windier at times, but the rain were heavier as well.
NNW wind here, but some of the ground level direction down to new buildings having gone up nearby. Wonder if they'll have all of their roof on come daylight.
Gorilla stuff, what's wrong with yer normal kit type stuff! Does it and PLA not mix too well either.
Doggy nearly done, would that be the arms/front legs being done. Or are you onto the 200% version.
Beeping fire alarm, thought they'd to be mains powered up that side of the border, and connected to each other. Just as well it didn't start beeping when 0200 rolled round again, and you not aware of the time.
But the beep is worse than a dripping tap, especially if the house is quiet. Slept through smoke alarms going off in the early hours, a few times.
Anything productive done due to yer early "alarm call", or just lost time, with you eating yer toast.
Two manual ones to reset, but my watch skipped Sunday altogether. Almost as though it didn't want to know about it. How does the change back, to GMT, make it easier for you logging.
We'd the gritters out Saturday evening, with rain forecast. What they'll do when it snows is anyone's guess. We've no snow ploughs here.
And you answered each call to go in...
Hardly anyone out and about round here since Saturday evening. Tomorrow, if it's died down enough, will see work on a clean-up starting.
Surprised the optical part of them were open on a Sunday. The trained staff don't like working weekends, much less Sundays. Costa packet again, or did you go for the whole caboodle of test and glasses.Yep, Roots Toots Roots were open,
it was spec fitting time (again) and left with them.
Thought we'd not faff about and headed home after der Zupermarket visit..
Thought the roads etc would be quiet, nah, same as it normally is.
West Coast and the fading holiday resort made the telly headlines,
I hope CC's famous Scot member is okay as it is his home area.
Glad I moved out 50 years ago.
Today's date is always remembered as Ally's birthday party day,
lost touch but I'm sure he'll be celebrating with something stronger than ginger and ice cream, his mum laid on some spread. A goody bag at the end..
More vindy vether arriving tamarra.
We made plans for it until Storm 'whatever its name is' arrives.
Oh well, think a wee trip out is on.
The Toob tonight, I see some regulars haven't posted so a wee scour around.
Time to log a dog..
They'll have been stocking up if there's more bad weather on the way. You'll have done the same no doubt, buying enough to see you through to yer next planned/usual day of shopping.
CC's famous member, on the West Coast? You mean it's not yerssen! Fading holiday camp in the news. Fifty years ago, that long ago and you still want to head back there. Now and again at least.
You raised a glass to Ally, and his birthday parties, today no doubt. There might be a phonecall from him as he thinks about you!
Goodie Bags are so old fashioned nowadays, if yer giving something out at the end £15 is seen as the minimum to be spent on what you give each one. Needless to say that type of birthday party is dying out. Wonder why...
More Vinde Vether tamarra, they've not given that out down here. But it's not died down yet either.
Anywhere nice/decent planned for yer out tamarra, or just the usual places.
Regulars on here or the toob?
Seems to have been a quiet enough day on here.
Dog been logged by now no doubt.
