B=Eeyore?

Fingerprints taken a long time ago... Gave mine voluntarily using the old ink and paper method years ago. Then they digitised their collection of these, and produced a second set for myself. A third set, again voluntary, on their digital records. None match any of the others.
Rain in the early hours, gave way to early blue skies. The odd light shower this afternoon, nothing heavy, or prolonged though.
They're yours, all yours! Mrs M okay with you giving her R2 unit away?
Does the sanding remove much of the surface shine?
SG gel, no normal glues used by yourself in putting these things together. I dunno, you might save some moolah that way.
Is the youngest aware of your plans for her to be involved in assembly of these models.
Out early, GC visited for breakfast? You must be the only person I know that goes to GC's to get something to eat.

Yer all logged up for the day.
Soul food, do you eat much of it. Toast, I'd eat in the evening, more than in the morning.

Anti glare, the lights that strong up there.

I were right about Ann then...

Maybe not, but they like the local radio stations are responsible for reporting a load of local issues. They go, you'll be getting less local stories.
Real life has nothing on the soaps, she must know that. However they try and say it's close to true life.

Chip shop sauce used to be a mix of brown an tomato ketchup down here. Very few places now doing it though.

I'll not divulge the reason for mine:ohmy:

Toast to me is one of life's pleasure,
Best loaf is the toastie loaf from one of der soopermarkets, their Toastie thick slice (other brands are available) but I can eat this all di..
PLA, needs the gel they tell me.
I tried a tube of the big hairy glue and it wasn't wanting to play yet in normal use, it is brill.

Glare? darkens when brighten then lightens again once normal, fake sunglasses.
I remeber trying them years ago, took the time after coming out of a long tunnel but much improved now...

No GC's today..
We have the kids possibly after their nursery and back to normal tamarra.

Oh no, not mixed, xx(

Time to get busy....

Hello everybody:hello:
Been, gone and back, shopping done....
Christmas lunchtime aperitif at a bargain price so a good start (even at this time)
Nice and autumnal out, no big breeze to worry about, I'm sur others will be not long in returning:ohmy:
Enjoy your day:cuppa:
Owdo
Been and done it now!
Christmas lunchtime aperitif in October. There's nearly two months to go yet. Bargain or otherwise. They may just be seeing what'll sell as the time draws closer.
Slightly cooler than yesterday, no breeze either. Overcast though, requiring lights on at half ten.
You could be right about others coming back, having done what you've done or similar.
I'll try, owabout yerself...

You were trying to get into a secure area near yer old house, or were the "other side" checking you were you really you. Whatever yer secrets safe with you.

Unless you burn it.
Warburtons Toastie, although that appears to have got smaller over the years, 13 slices per loaf, 14 if yer lucky.
And this gel actually does the trick, sparing you buying/using any hairy glue?
Tried that hairy glue and got similar results to other "super" stuff, not much luck. I think I must be the only person who got super glue on their fingers and it hasn't stuck.

Good for when yer in the car at night then. Not dazzled by oncoming headlights. I said that, make you look like someone famous.
Quicker reaction times that's all. For which there is a price to pay...

No GC's! Homer to the rescue again no doubt.

Aye, mixed 50/50. Why I know not, or even who even thought of the idea.

Still busy?

Always busy....bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I don't admit to being an angel....

I like a little bit of fibre to my bread, having been brought up on what we call plain bread oop here, pan was an afterthought and something foisted on us, soft pap, see how it is when it gets wet. It's all sourdough this and that now and jeez, what a profit margin it must have, maybe thats why they push it so much...
This popped up on mu toob feed earlier..
I was a Fusilier mid 70s...

A rare chanter, yer man Ronnie..

Logged and upped...early tonight.
New DXCC country today...

Overcast, but largely dry here. Coffee and vitals, who drew/wrote up the shopping list?
Did you get "some stuff" done. I'll not ask what sorta stuff were done though.

You'd not be telling me porkies now would you, about always being busy.

You've visitors headed your way. All the food and other refreshments laid on, ready for them.
Another test piece! What's tha testing now.
Never made the cut, how about one of the three wise men?
Brought up on similar to missen by the sound of it. Even the brown bread of the day isn't the same today. Wholemeal, full grain...
Did you ever get to try Milk Bread? Not seen it in years.
The pan were "better for us" if we believe what they told us. It's the "healthy options" that are "good for us" they're pushing now. And I for one am against it.
I could say much the same, worked on this, up near the building on the right-hand side of the road.

And on the Bradford Interchange.

They could pop into almost any pub in Ireland without fear of being mobbed, back then.

Logged up early. You having an early night, or got yer printer running again.
New DXCC country, there's somewhere you've not been in touch with!

Good morning :hello:
A typical dry autumnal (I like this word) day.
No heading out today, which means a bowl of gruel and a slice of toast in a few mins.
Enjoy your day:cuppa:
Owdo
Don't go overdoing the Autumnal, it'll soon be winter before you know it. Dry and sunny, with blue sky visible in parts. There is a different feel to the day, over recent days, I'll give you that though.
Gruel and toast to be eaten in a few mins. You don't get much time to eat it, do you.

Top o'the morning to yer..
I wasn't made out for the big construction jobs, on offer as I left Ardyne was a timekeeper post at Loch Kishorn, those were the heady days, I only wish I'd met the future Mrs M 12 months earlier, she would have made sure I'd use what I'd earn sensibly.
Oh the halycon days, I took the wrong decision time anfter time, I took the fanciful one rather than the sensible one.
Today I consult the Oracle..aye, you've guessed.

Milk bread, no, no, no as that was absolutely rotten, butter had to run on it be spread, I saw some tube spreadle butter on a Toob thing recently, yeuugh.

I better fly and get ready for our guests, now two instead of one, I'll wind up Ms Toodles to 'annoy' them  (only kidding)

And the same to yerself.
The one pictured above was still a lot of pick and shovel work, as was Bradford Interchange. You'd have been okay with a shovel wouldn't you?
Heady days, you were well paid then. Especially if as you say someone else would have made you spend it.
The only question you have to ask yourself is, would you do the same thing again, not knowing what might happen. Hindsight is wonderful, but not available 'til after.
Oracle, you mean yer new Alexa+?

Similar thoughts on the milk bread at least. Hot/warm knife required for the butter.

Take yer time. You'll be ready when yer ready... Can you handle the pair of them on yer own you reckon. Do that and I could see her getting her own back on you. Be careful, she might want an ice lolly!

Summerial sounds as though yer summing things up.
Why not, it might even catch on. Then you can refer them all back here, to where you invented their use.
Yer ridge of porrial doesn't sound very appealing...

I am well qualified enough to have even shovelled eh, cow dung in my teenage years
and i've never been a captain of a lugger...
93 GBP a bare week (1975), we did a 'slip occasionally, a constant pour of concrete 24hrs and as long as 31 days, 12 hour shift and if your replacement didn't appear you had to carry on but they gave you time to disappear to nap for a time. There was an extra man in each cell, the 'rig' I was on had 32 cells, I was officially a concrete finisher after being a labrador to the joiners, the weekly wage over the 'slip'period got larger as they applied a temporary bonus, if you missed a shift? you lost a lot of money....270 at the end week, firsy was something around 180. Unbelievable money. My previous job was 24 a 40 hour week. Problem was the travelling, leave the house at 6.00am, walk down to the town, buss at 6.35 then a 15 - 20 mins ride up the coast then a ferry across the river, finish and the same journey back to the even then fading holiday resort getting back there at 6.00 pm then in the pub, a few beers or three then Chinese or home for 10am then the cycle started again. Sadly the contract finished but as i said i could have headed N but decided not to...

I've shovelled that in my adult life, even had it on my CV at one stage. Along with s**t Stirrer(job title given by the person I was working for).
You reckon you'd have made cabin boy on a sailing lugger, hunting for shoals of herring?
Would you fancy another go at slip pouring, just to see if you could still do it. Maybe not the 31 days, just the one 12 hour shift...
That's the problem with jobs that pay a wee bit more than others. Their not as easy get to as the less well paid jobs. Which would you prefer.
You'd no bike, much less motorbike back then I take it.
Is it the pint and the chinese at the end of the day you'd miss the most. Or showing off yer moves on the dance floor.
What kept you from following the work North.
Was the piece you linked to yer daily commute? Doesn't look too bad, but then there's no snow or rain in those pictures.
Would you do that trip again, by bike/motorbike, camping out as needed.

Morning from a bright, sunny Central Belt :hello:
Nice start but the usual warning of precipitation...
Thing is AI has told there is a 21% chance, how precise is that? early evening they say so I'll hazard a guess at 6.30 - 7.00 pm, we'll see.
Enjoy your day:cuppa:

Owdo, can't see if it's sunny due to the fog that's appeared round these parts.
No sign of the heatwave "they" were promising for the end of this week.
If it had said 20% you'd not have remembered it as well. 21% makes it more likely to stick in yer mind. Well I'll wait to see if yer guess of 6.30 - 7.30 is correct.

I had use of a Honda 250 in the mid 70s,
bloke defaulted on payments, I offered him the money to clear it, nope, it got repossessed, I could never work that out plus he needed it for work, same place as me but had to travel further up the coast to get another ferry as he did permanent nights, whit?

I think I would struggle, it was more a check on flaky concrete and any little flaws which had to be 'chipped' out and filled with a resin then smoothed, it was walking about the walls keeping an eye and dealing with the permanent onsite insurance bloke, serious stuff in those days, one of us had to be there at all times but it wasn't a massive physical job except when the old scabbling gun came out. What a racket in such and exposed place. Dined well as my mate ran the food shack on the platform, the scrambled egg rolls were sublime...
Canteen was a fair bit away and again, lunchbreak was quick off then back on and the other disappeared, oh for a walkman type in those days..

I decided that it really wasn't for me, I was having the time of my life in the then fading holiday resort, a normal job would suffice, I made the mistake of leaving the council job I had in the Roads TBH but hey, I'd never have met the future Mrs M if I'd followed the money.

Ardyne? It was an exposed to all weathers type place, glad we worked 99% of the time in the 'cells', I did a full winter and wore that much clothing I could barely move if up the leg on the skyclimber, the scenery was good, approx four hour commuting a day.
They had a 'camp', I could have got a place there but apart from a bar, it had no real facilities, a small room to crash in and keep yer gear..
Worked with a Donegal lad who was there to get the money to buy his local village shop, never found out if he did. made some good friends through it. A time to remember.

Waiting on the holy terror appearing,
