I know this sounds a bit PC, but you to need consider the capabilities of the team. From a diversity perspective, the activity should within the reaches of the workforce. I know, as I was criticised for doing an 'in the woods' day last year which involved a swim in a pretty cold loch. Some of the non-swimmers complained that the activity was not 'inclusive'.
However, that said it was an excellent day out. we rented a boy scout wood, which had a mini assault course - obstacles and all sorts of things and concluded with a BBQ with some beers. The raft building took it a bit far.
