Team Jersey conundrum

Okay CCers...

I have just (perhaps foolishly) ordered a team jersey

Question 1: Will I look like a nobber and become a target for every Tom, Richard and Arry that has a Strava account?

Question 2: I ordered 1 size larger than the most recent jersey I purchased, because as I understand it the replica team kits are made 'tight'. The previous Jersey mentioned is also a Santini one but it's apparently a classic fit and the XL40 is fine (club kit). The one I have just ordered is the same make but XXL42. Does this sound about right?

Yeah - more concerned about possible fit issues!! I like the look of the jersey in question and have been toying with the idea of ordering one for a while. Bit the bullet tonight, even though I am SKINT and cannot afford it! Got an unexpected discount at the checkout too, so all in all it was a shade over 25 squid, inc p&p

1) Probably.

2) Should be comfy unless the summer of cycling has shed a few pounds and it feels a bit slack.

One of my jerseys is a Sky one. I like it. It looks cool. It performs nicely, so I wear it.

Wear whatever you like. It's all marketed because it gets bought.

You shouldn't care what others think, I wear team Cube kit on occasions and feel good. I enjoy looking the part on my bike. Go enjoy your team kit.

Just bought a Sportful New Crank Jersey

was advised to get the next size up as they are quite a tight fit

I don't like tight as at 49 I have a few too many lumps than I'd like, so to be safe I ordered XXL and the damn thing is still tight

Must be designed for those skinny little Italians riders!
