After a months cycling/camping we treated ourselves to four days R&R in Elche before flying home.We had no idea Sky would be staying at the hotel for three days when we booked it, it's a massive operation but lots of people were happy to chat (Ian Stannard in particular). Access was pretty open (Chris F had a minder but that was it for security).

The mechanics never stopped.
Ian Stannard is a top bloke (and very tall).
Each riders kit was put outside their room prior to arrival, including stuff like scales, yoga mats etc. (no we didn't have a poke about).
I'm not that fat, he really is very skinny.
