Tektro Brake pads any idea which ones these are ?

Hello all,

Today on my way back from Wrexham to home in South Shropshire found this bike free to good home ! Other than a good clean a lube and a few minor adjustments it seems pretty good ( a great find as I was looking for a bike to go out with my lad who's bike I have been using) The only problem I can see is the back brake does not work. On inspection I found the pads have nothing left on them but cannot work out which type they are have any of you any idea ?

The dimensions and these may be +/- a little bit are (rectangular bit) 30mm x 19mm and if you include the tag 35mm they are Tektro Hydraulic brakes

If, as I suspect, they are Tektro Auriga brakes, then just search for Tektro Auriga brake pads and take your choice.

I have the same brakes on a bike I got cheap on eBay - with no obvious name other that Tektro.

It’s pads like these you need.

Useful link to SJS because they list all the brake types so if you see any of those names you know they are the same thing.

It's a drawback of disc brakes.
With rim brakes, there are only about 3 different types, it terms of getting something to fit, so you can just wander into any LBS and buy some.
With disc pads, there's a reasonably high chance that whatever shop you try won't have anything compatible in stock, so it's often a case of buying in advance of need, keeping your own stock.
