The quiz posted on here a day or two ago stated that pedal reflectors were mandatory, this one didn't mention the pedals.

Chuffin heck, they still haven't fixed that. I mean that it's in the "MEN" section. I have a feeling that "motoring" might be wholly male in the Torygraph too. I guess THEY JUST DON'T CARE, the brave little renegades. Or do I mean retrogrades?

I went for visible light in the sky, rather than visible sun, as I was thinking of overcast days when you can't see the sun (or Britain as we know it)!

CTC state that lights are required when the sun is below the horizon. Living in a valley can take another hour either end of the day.

8-10 slipping a bit, but the lights one is not a legal requirement to a policeman lighting up time is.
Strangely the sun is below the horizon when the bottom edge touches the visible 'horizon' the illusion of the sun still being above it is caused by diffraction of the atmosphere (Or QI got it wrong)
