Telescopic flag pole

Not for a recumbent, but I thought I might fit one to my folding CB Stratos as I venture out onto the public roads as a new cyclist, might even fit an L flag. Anyone found such a devise. A car aerial might need too many mods?

Kids flags are common

Usually about 5 ft, and the metal bracket fits between the frame and wheel nut / Quick release

Alternatively any kite shop will be able to help

Use the 8 mm fibre glass rod as it is stronger and longer lasting than the carbon fibre tube.

Fixing is easy enough, although it needs to be removable for a folding bike

Do you have a rack?

In that case get hold of a "repair sleeve" slightly larger than the rod, crimp the end and zip tie on to the rack, choosing a stay that puts the flag where you want it

Pole can then be slipped in and out the sleeve when you fold the bike
