I am looking for a tent for a charity cycle ride of Europe next year.
I will be cycling from Malta to Norway, North Cape from early May and hopefully finishing in early August. I will be cycling solo and wild camping along the way.
Yeah, I know Hilleberg and Terra Nova are fantastic tents and I would love one, but they are out of my price range. Unless someone wants to be really really generous!
Ideally I would like a freestanding tent weighing less that 4kg and around the 100 pound range. I want to be able to sit up in the tent and have somewhere to put my wet things, but apart from that, I am pretty open minded. (it will be warm in Malta and Italy, but possibly very cold in Norway).
Because I will be wild camping, I am looking for a green ish tent, or something that will not stand out.
