Oh by the way, I got my tent (above) from simplyhike online - they have a 10% voucher code on at the moment 'VCHIKE' or a free delivery one but it was better to get the 10% as the tent was £75

Actually, there are two of us - does that make a difference? It is long too though isn't it?

I think I am just being tight! I am thinking I should fork out another 30 quid and get the 3 man Vango Spectre.

1 small opinion.

Given the uk's track record with precipitation, you might want a bit of a porch on it to cook under?

I have a 1 man tent that I can't sit up in, so am resigned to buying a flysheet and an extendable pole to create a 'covered living area'

I'd second that - it's the reason the other half and I got a Vango spirit 200+ as the porch holds all luggage with room to sit in and cook if necessary.
