Testing fear response

Today I bought myself some new headphones (Sennheiser Urbanite Gs, if you must know - on offer at Argos). I went into the Friday Night Music thread to find some tunes to test them with, then went on YouTube to find something to post. I saw this on my Recommended field, because I've watched a few 80s documentaries about nuclear war (I've also got Threads, The Day After and The War Game on DVD...)

It's a video designed by specialists to test the fear response. It's 48 minutes long, and a fair chunk of that is Bargain Hunt*, but I thought it was bloody good. Oh, and my headphones work. So does my startle response...

* The argument that after Bargain Hunt one would welcome Armageddon is indeed a valid one.

That is a bit.... depressing.

Actually, a nice attempt, but the voices kinda let it down.

It's an ongoing project, apparently. I suppose it's more effective if some idiot doesn't spoil it first...
