I'm struggling with fig rolls...I keep inhaling crumbs..
what really gets me is the rampant fig roll profiteering that the major supermarkets indulge in. They hook you in with a cheap deal and then once they've got you they keep changing the price, up mostly. And they put them on the top shelf so little elderly people can't reach... the poor dears aren't doing aerobics in the biscuit aisle, they're just trying to do their shopping.

Why do they have top shelves in supermarkets? Only the lanky people can reach them.

Today saw me pogoing (1 knee is duff) to reach some stuff up there in the middle of Sainsbury's in Dewsbury

So true, Kate! I have an old bike too, it's in bits and pieces now, awaiting resurrection , every time I cleaned it the chain would come off on a ride, don't clean it for months, goes flawlessly

Isn't that just typical. There is probably a technical reason the chain does that but I don't know what it is.

Ha, I know you know everything bike related! That poor old thing is my project, to learn my mechanics. It's totally dismantled now, awaiting tlc & new bb fitting. I've got another bike, you could eat your dinner from this one

Oh, if only! I know plenty about bikes from doing my own maintenance (and messing it up from time to time) but there is always still loads to learn!
