For putting your subscription up £4.Over £70 a month just to watch repeats in HD and the odd bit of sport.
So today i cancelled despite them offering me half price for a year.
If i do wan't to watch anything on Sky it will be via Chromecast and a laptop.
Sky-you are just too greedy!

I cancelled my Sky TV a year and a half ago and now I use YouView and Netflix and my pocket is much better off and I find I don't just sit in front of the TV, in fact I only watch about 4 programs a week now.

Edit: Did the math its well above RPI so if you are in a fixed term contract you can cancel free of charge.

I have never paid a penny to Sky; wouldn't give it house room. I did however, once work in one of their customer services call centres - for about 3 weeks, but walked away while still in training. Never even got as far as speaking to a single customer! So I am happy to say that I have taken money from them without them getting anything in return. Stick that in yer pipe and smoke it Murdoch, ya robbing git.
