Hmmm quite pleased so far. very smooth ride. Note to self, poor road surfaces approached at right angles = road rash. 3 weeks work ... had to take last Friday off cos my daughter was getting married. Some children are so inconsiderate ;)

Wow! Are that blue moulton and that red moulton really the same bike? If so, congratulations, sir! That's a beautiful job.

Thank you very much Simon. It was well worth the effort although it was probably one of most difficult restorations I've done

Ah the moulton, takes me back to when i was a nipper.I used to stand outside CURRYS(they sold bikes then) with my nose pressed against the window, how i yearned, longed for that bike but it was not to be, sob!

I hate seeing these, it reminds me of the gits that nicked mine

I've had bikes nicked, wrote bikes off, but the one that stings is how I picked up one of these in similar condition (pre-restore) for the princely sum of £8 at an auction. Someone got in the back veranda and ignored the plethora of bike parts and bikes in various states of dismantling/repair and just took that moulton

It wasn't the money, and I'd have probably forgotten if they'd took the raleigh sensor that was there, camouflaged in a shiny black and red respray job, it was that I was pleased that I had been the only person who had seen worth and potential in the poor neglected machine, that never got realised - I never even got to ride it :-(
