Tonight I went out for my club's Thirsty Thursday club run. Normally it's the fast lot doing a chain gang and maybe a group or 2 of up to 12 people each doing a more sensible social ride. There were 4 of us left after the fast lot went out, and we were planning on a 14-15 mph average for the ride. By the time we got back, I managed an average of 17.1, my fastest to date. My previous fastest was around 16.5 in May of last year tucked into the middle of a large-ish group, whereas tonight there were just the four of us and I spent a good deal of time on the front. Very happy :-)

@rivers great stuff. I know that feeling well. We have similar groups in our club and it’s always good to hang on that but longer!!

Love the group name - Thirsty Thursdays. We have a Friday Fry Up ride though no one has the fry up anymore.
