isn't this why motorcycle levers have those neat little balls on the end.

So that when the handles bars suddenly...and for no apparent reason twist whilst you are riding...(don't you just hate it when handlebars do that) they don't impale you?

Once I'd seen that and read the story i couldn't help but notice how dirty his feet were and then how grubby his mother's trainers and jeans are. Should've smartened up a bit!
