It's a bit more complicated than that...
Mo Farah's daily training regime includes 18 miles of running, starting and ending with a 7-minute mile pace 3-mile warm-up/cool-down. In the middle he does a series of speed intervals, ending with a 1-minute pace 400m. He then does the same series of speed intervals, twice more, speeding up each time.

He lives on a training camp sponsored by Nike (hence the consistent clothes and shoes) with training partners (hence the synchronisation). The Guardian does outstanding photography and doesn't use photoshop in news photography without declaring the fact.
