The 100 Club to Close?

Well I haven't been to the 100 club for a couple of years, last time was to see the incredibly well known Wes McGhee - well I like him, he's one of my favourites.
Be a shame as it's a really good venue that has seen some great acts play there over the years.

That's a real shame. The place is a shrine to music. It also used to be my regular Friday lunch and jazz venue when I was at university.

Reading their web page, it's the same story that's killing many small businesses in central London - rent and rates.

(I was at this one!) as much town center regenaration (blummin wine bars!) & the internet as rent!
