Not particularly fussed either way.
Only thought is that there are fewer entrants in the other three distance challenges - and having an 'indefinite' chatzone when there are only a handful of contributors makes it manageable.
With 20+ in the HMCAM challenge, perhaps it's better to stick with an annual one?

I’m new to this. And I’m not sure it matters (To me ?). So what are the reasons you’re thinking of changing for ?

An accidental Festive Fifty today - I was just going to do an out and back 20 mile loop to Ipswich given the bitterly cold strong easterly wind, but there was a slight shift to slightly more north east making the return leg not as bad as I was expecting, so I just added in a couple of extra sections to bring the mileage up.

Did a nice 50km ride this afternoon unfortunately it was in my spare bedroom on zwift so no points , The group ride finisher at 48km so obviously I had to round it up 😂. Went for a walk this morning in the lovely sunny but bitter weather and just couldn't face getting in to bike kit and going back out after my family had eaten all my best biscuits and drank all my nice coffee
I know it's Christmas but I still can't let it go without mentioning it , disappointed ☹️

Went out this morning with every intention of a final 50 K. Met up with a mate whose wife is unwell so had to be back quick sticks. Ended up with just a 28 Km ride in a very chilly wind. So that's me done for another year.

I want to get one more '50' in this year, but turbo training in the warm is currently trumping outdoor rides in the cold!
(The main problem is that I go to bed very late, get up very late, and would therefore be riding the end of my 50 in the dark, when it is even colder. Not a problem when all is well, but I have had bad experiences in the past in misty damp winter lanes when trying to fix punctures with frozen fingers!)
