Finally a dry day in February. Wasn't sure if I'd see @Jon George posting first having passed him going the other way on Bucklesham Road.
I'll fill in the details when I get home (Edit - now added, see below)

But talking about dry days... I had left a plastic bucket out in my back yard and it was overflowing with captured rain water. I just emptied it and will be keeping an eye on it to see how long it takes for this soggy weather to refill it. (I am assuming that very little water will evaporate from the bucket in these cool, humid days.) We typically get around 10 cm/4 ins in February.

I know, but it's so unusual to have so many consecutive wet days in this corner of Suffolk which is normally one of the driest areas of the country. I'm used to the cloud cover, but not the rain.
After my post I looked up the average for round here... It confirms why I find Yorkshire winters depressing, and even more so for the gloomier and wetter ones!

January: 2 rides, 4 points
1st February: 32.41 miles - Felt it was better to go out in the morning drizzle with wet roads rather than wait until the roads dry out but risk the forecast heavy rain of the afternoon. Bare minimum 50km loop around Quainton and the Claydons - https://www.strava.com/activities/17249188822 - 1 point
8th February: 31.99 miles - Decided against longer route due to threatened rain being earlier than originally forecast, ended up with loop around Longwick and Haddenham - https://www.strava.com/activities/17329126519 - 1 point

Total so far: 6 points
