England : Lincolnshire The Arrow

Hey up folks,

Who's signed up for The Arrow? Anyone?

I'm an idiot, not cycled since March last year, keep being told off by my boss for not riding (passed driving test in Feb, bought first car in March), and so signed myself up to The Arrow 76 miler!

So if anyone is going, give me a shout!

Did it last year, typically it was a wet and windy day which made it far harder than it should have been!

Watch out for the rolling hills towards the back end of the ride - nothing particularly steep but I found them much more of a stiffer test than I was expecting.

I did it two years ago and loved every minute of it.
Rode with a few people which kept the momentum going, which at that time wasn't too bad, but struggled with the final 20 miles, due to the arthritis in my feet playing up, but I did it.
Planning on pushing through this year and just doing it. But I know I also need to get back in the saddle and stop driving so much.
