Not a great start, but it means nothing until both teams have batted once.

I think some of the media are getting carried away. Oz are never going to be a push over. Ian Botham predicting a 10 - Nil thrashing is just stupid, because it's unlikely to happen, and will just wind the Ozzies up.

I don't think so, I think Cook made the wrong choice batting first with cloudy overhead conditions good for swinging, he hedged his bet on Swann in the 4th innings on pitch should turn later in the test.

I'd still fancy England to win the series but not by a huge margin. Some commentators seem to have thought the teams would be in different leagues, it's not like that though. Where England have become rather good is in recovering well.
