I was lamenting continuing knot problems in the mundane thread, the offending item is a pair of running shorts with a continuous single loop drawstring. I have searched for a solution to establish how it should be tied properly and found this diagram

They end up in comedy sketch shows set in pet shops (usually in places called NOTLOB). Parrots are the most popular birds in these shops, they can get all the "rest" they need.
