If I wanted to travel to a theoretical nearest habitable planet, let's say it's 1000 light years away. I'd want to accelerate at 1g to the half way point and then turn my ship around so that I could decelerate at 1g.

How long would it take me to get there?

1001 light years..........................Maltz, jol yIchu

What are the chances, given the unimaginable size of the universe, that our galaxy, our solar system, our planet, that must go beyond any reasonable chance, that right in the dead centre of it all is London?
Zero, because of the following known scientific facts:
1. The sun is not the centre of the universe.
2. Your backside is in London.

So if you subscribe to the theory that the sun shines out of your backside (and you know you do), London cannot be the centre of the universe.

QED, PTO, HMRC, DILLIGAF, etc...

I never said our sun was the centre. Clearly London is. The universe revolves around it. This can be proved by seeing the sun and other stars spinning around it perfectly.

Further proof is as I travel away from London to the north or the inbred east or the yokel southwest, time clearly travels backwards.

Make the most of it, with population density still rising it will soon have an event horizon and that will be that for away days.

yebbut they'll be decamping to Frankfurt soon, then London'll become a ghost town
