Ich bin Powerfrau!
Many of you may know that a bunch of CycleChatters is in competition with a bunch of Aussies from the Bicycle Victoria Forums to cycle the furthest this year (2010). We're logging our rides on www.mycyclinglog.com and CycleChat is currently in the lead - just. The Aussies were nearly 50,000 miles behind but have done a recruitment drive in the last few days and are now just 1000 miles behind - argh! They have fewer members than us so have actually done more miles per person than the CycleChatters.

If any of you feel like joining our team, we would be most grateful. You don't have to log daily, you can just do a summary of the month (which would be only 10 entries!) Those who use Bikejournal, wouldn't it be helpful to have another backup of your data on MCL?

The thread about it is here: http://www.cyclechat...8-mycyclinglog/ It's very long so you might like to just skip near to the end. If you join MCL you then have to ask to join the CycleChat team (find our team and there's a small 'join' at the top right hand side somewhere) and I will authorise you.

The MCL team is only for genuine CycleChat posters and we only log 'real' miles, not turbo miles.

Come on folks, join in and help rout the Aussies!

Yeah, come on one & all - do your best to beat those uppity Aussies; we'll all end up being winners anyway.

BV & CC forum members have just exceeded 1 million kms this year. Pretty impressive, I think. :bicycle:

Hmmm. I know there were at least 8 CC people on the Emitremmus ride yesterday, so that would be an extra 480 miles in itself...

Well, I used to log on Cyclogs under the CC Team, so I may as well join the CC team on here as well...

I'll try and twist his arm, but he's not keen on the "look" of mycycling logs - too modern, probably

Tell him to log miles with his eyes shut then.... ;)

I've been astonished to find that there are people trying to catch up with me miles-wise - I've never been an athletic target before. Mind you, with the nights drawing in, my extra commute miles are tailing off.
