I just deleted the original Hoover post. I suddenly realised that a bunch of complete strangers might see it......

You let out a ripping fart to find some one standing behind you.

You're alone in the office and drop a paint-stripping fart about 30 seconds before your boss comes back in . Alternatively, you walk into a room with only one other person in it (job interview etc) and it's obvious they've farted. You can't say what's on your mind, you just have to be polite and ignore the smell.

My boss's office was stinking of farty smells last week. You can always go your own but someone elses make me ill.

When I had my bowel out a couple of years ago, the smell of people farting in the ward as I recovered was, oddly enough, a bit of a novelty to me.

Once the morphine wore off, it didn't last.

Back on topic.. that awkward moment when you realise the incision the doctor made on your inside leg is unfreezing and starting to bleed, so you need to shove your hand down your trousers to put pressure on the wound, in the office you share with a not-unlovely trainee.
