I really dont want to - but I'm going to have to agree... the Ramones are/were an institution.
To that end, lets add The Ramones - It's Alive as one of the best live albums.

And a few others in no particular order......
Springsteen - Nebraska.
Leonard Cohen - The Future.
Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones.
ACDC - Back in Black.
Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
Bauhaus - In the Flat Field

But my own personal favourite has to be - Nick Cave - Boatmans Call.

I saw the Ramones in the Corn Exchange, Cambridge, in about 1977 (?). It was at the start of the punk era, and the people close to the stage expressed their appreciation in the manner common at the time.

DeeDee Ramone was not impressed..."Can you farking stop spitting at me..."

Oh, I forgot the best live album ever, Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out, 1970. Mick Taylor knocks Keef into a cocked hat. After that, it really was down-hill all the way, wasn't it?

I completely got the point of the last line. I listen to many different genres of music, in fact, I have a slight disdain for 'Rock' music these days. The old classic stuff is great, but 99% of this more recent stuff (the last Decade or so) is awful.

As for Ramones. Loved their image, loved their attitude, but musically, they were crap!
