No 1 will always be The Wrong Trousers for me, absolute gold. The amount of story told in those 30 minutes, climaxing in a chase never bettered, is simply astounding.

I think the best chase scenes in all cinema are the scene in Ronin where they are racing round the peripherique the wrong way; the scene in French Connection where Gene Hackman is trying to chase a metro train in his car, the locomotive chase from The General, but perhaps the greatest of all chases from the whole of cinema is the model railway chase from The Wrong Trousers pictured in your still
