Funnily enough Accy, when I saw that whilst watching it on Christmas Day, probably like many on here, I immediately thought of you (just because of Accrington, not implying anything else mate..... :-) )

I didn't watch the Christmas Day showing. I might watch it later, if it's on You Tube. I saw the image of that barge on some pop up thingy and was quite pleased with it!!![]()

Daughter still doesn’t believe that Gromit is supposed to be a Beagle
iPlayer.
:Plus, for example; Its very enjoyable, very impressed with the actor doing Wallace...you can't tell it isn't Sallis.
SPOLER ALERT:
Enjoyed the copper who finished the 'stolen bike saddle' gag (a ton of paperwork) only to have it come back later...
Wasn't the retiring inspector the same copper from 'Curse of the Were - Rabbit'?. Good voice by Peter Kay.
I always liked the Bristol refs in the older ones....Gromit reading the 'Morning Post'...then 'Afternoon Post' & finally 'Evening Post' which probably ref our local rag, which now calls itself the Bristol Post, but used to be the EP...available in the mornings!.
I enjoy the attention to detail gags...anyone spot 'Gardens of the Galaxy'?.
I rewatched A Matter of Loaf & Death, love the ending which riffs on Ripley in Aliens.
Farmageddon was a fun surprise, essentially ET with some fun SF gags including Doctor Who (the burp joke was funny too).

No 1 will always be The Wrong Trousers for me, absolute gold. The amount of story told in those 30 minutes, climaxing in a chase never bettered, is simply astounding.
