Oh, never tried that. Peanut butter and the sweet vinegaryness of tomato ketchup on toast, yum - that's practically a pizza isn't it?

As long as the egg is dropped into the centre and baked with the pizza... on a college architectural exchange to Rome in 1979 we discovered proper Quattro Stagioni pizza [complete with arctichoke and an egg]... We went there three nights in a row and ate 2 each... when you got 2200 lira for a pound.

Adding the egg part way through the cooking, so it is still soft at the end, would be my preference.

take-away it's usually a hot & spicy for me, with olives and pineapple.

at home it's just any old pizza from the shop topped up with additional salami and chorizo (? spelling!), mushrooms and more cheese, topped with lashings of coarse ground black pepper

how about peanut butter and marmite on toast?
