The Daffs had poked their heads out round here and likewise the birds were full of song.

Here's to a mini heatwave in March.

It was SO bloody nice out today. I did 3 hours in the sunshine with not a breath of wind about and it was simply glorious. Went past a field where a farmer was harrowing, so had mashed grass smell.. Good for the soul

We all need to take a little time now and again to listen to the birds and smell the flowers, roll on spring and summer.

Talking of birds, I've noticed a distinct lack of them this winter?, we've always fed the birds all winter long, hanging out, feed balls, peanuts and mixed seed in dispensers and the like. Last year it seemed we replaced the stuff every other day as we had a good population of birds visiting to feed.

This year it hasn't been the case, in fact, the feed balls and peanuts that I placed out there last week are still there and they've hardly been touched. Another thing, last year I could often hear a bird singing at 2am on a quiet winters night (why do they sing at that time) This year nothing.

Got the window open at the office, and can hear them chirping away.

That reminds me - must pop to Wilkinsons and buy a big bag of meal worms - the last lot were a big hit with the birdies ! We've had loads in the garden.

Walked out of the office door tonight and was greeted with the sound of singing birds in the bushes and trees on the edge of the car park. Giving it loads they were. Lovely. Brought a smile to my face.

COME ON SPRING!!!!

That is all ...
Singing birds! Yes, I noticed that last night too. AND there was still a glimmer of daylight when I rode home. Made me smile too!
