I don't care about their immigration status, as they are providing a service that is in demand, but I do care about them making a mockery of road/pavement safety stuff. That said, the delivery companies could easily put in counter-incentives via the apps they use, but I suspect they like stuff being delivered fast.

You can easily spot the drug dealers here, as they all use electric scooters and have satchels over their shoulders which aren't big enough for delivering more than one burger.

Yeah, it's the pavements and general lack of road safety, combined with what are now very heavy and very fast 'vehicles' that annoys me. The delivery companies are also responsible for this as you say, their demands for faster delivery and the low pay have led to this problem.

No hail here... sounds like that fell elsewhere (Hauterives) and damaged loads of cars. Just a jolly good soaking, and clearing the air for what should be four days of sunshine before I leave.
