Cadburys aint so bad, not great but not bad. Now if you want to talk about horrid foul vile chocolate lets talk about that **** the yanks try to pass off as chocolate - Hershey's. tastes like dried sick...

I bought several bars of Hershey's chocolate at the American Air Museum at Duxford. One bite of a bar was enough to make me retch and I spent a few weeks unsuccessfully tying to give the remaining bars to people that I didn't like before binning them.

I always thought it was rhyming slang for nip (can I say that on CC?). but on checking I see it to be there for trip (on drugs).
But then I may be getting mixed up with raspberry ripple!

While on the same page I notice a new entry and so can say "Creame eggs make me want to Wallace and Grommit"

I am still getting over the disappointment when I got my first walnut whip that did not have the bottom nut. Now you have to eat them from the bottom up so that you save the nut until last; and that cannot be right. My boycott has remained strong for about 20 years now. They will crack in the end.

As a teenager we used to call the two sizes of Kit Kat "Kylie Minogue" and "Joan Collins". Don't ask why as the answer is too rude for CC.

I remember as a 5 yr old every Friday being allowed to go to Tommy's ice cream van for my gran.
2 walnut whips (one each) and 20 Kensitas, the red packet. Ah memories

my local Tesco has an American section in the world food aisle now with all the sweets and c**p breakfast cereals at extortionate prices e.g. A standard size twix but peanut butter flavour for £1.80 and the usual Hersheys and Tootsie Roll stuff for the same sort of money, Madness all round. Hersheys chocolate is like proper chocolate that has gone way way way past its sell by date, gritty and odd.
