Sometimes I think we are the dumbest of the species. Rant over!

Least we are consistent.

Reminds me of the wild gypsy horses that roam around the streets by me. They quite often stand around in the roads oblivious to the furious horn blowing motorists. Stupid animals eh ?

It is mostly sheep down here in deepest, darkest Lincolnshire.
I actually think that they are the dumbest of species.

Out for a ride one day and I come across a stray sheep walking down one side of the road.
If it had stayed there, it would be safe and out of the way. But no. As I approached it, it suddenly, and without warning, dashes across the road to the other side. Luckily, I am aware of how unpredictable they are and was travelling quite slowly and had plenty of time to stop.

My friend and I were travelling down the Glen Brittle road of the Isle of Skye earlier this year.
We came upon a herd of sheep being driven down the road towards us.
So we stopped the car and turned off the engine to avoid frightening them.
But alas, this did not work and they just went in panic mode.
Instead of using the ample room either side of the car and filtering past us, they just ran about all over the road in front of the car, jumping over each other.
No amount of persuasion by the sheepdog and farmer would make them pass the car.
Eventually, one plucked up enough courage to dart past, and as sheep do, they all followed.

I had this the other day with a herd of cows being....well.....herded down the road in front of me, I was in a rush to get back to work too! Bleeding animals, they don't even pay any road tax

Some drivers here seem to think the animals are for target practice as the number of hit and run's has increased lately and the animals are usualy left in agony and needed to be put down. The local police and council have started an initiative here in the forest to get garage mechanics to report any supicious bodywork damage in an effort to catch hit and run drivers.

Now tell us something new!

Maybe being a dolphin is where its at. I mean they are always larking about jumping around, playing with beach balls without a care in the world. I bet when they're not doing that, they are lying around on sofas, chilling out schmokin some leaves or something.

What have we got ? Dictator wars and politics. ;)
