I've used the kiwicycles one, together with a photo of a mangled bike under a truck's wheels...might just hit home. I also like the cyclesafe one too.

I had a quick doodle, nothing major but it'll scale to A4 OK.

Attached the PDF.

Anymore/changes give me a shout.

Excellent. What do people think for this to be printed onto T-shirts? Who actually first came up with the design ie any copyright issues?

If it's just a campaign poster I doubt there's any copyright. If there is I could knock something original up.

Good stuff Mister P. I'm certainly going to look at putting a poster up in a few spots. A common design would be good.

I like that kiwi cycling one its snappy and doesn't feel like its lecturing.

A design is automatically copyrighted as soon as it is created, so the copyright owner needs to be traced and asked for permission (unless they have already placed it in the public domain, but we'd need to trace them to ascertain that anyway).

Only just come upon this thread - they do tend to slide down quickly if no-one posts. I think someone might have suggested this already but is there is way of keeping all the threads relating to the campaign together?

I like this - it's very dramatic and "in your face". If amongst other places, it were posted up at points where cyclists are likely to go up the inside of large vehicles, say on lamp posts or even held up, it might make them think twice.

In terms of the copyright is it worth checking with Kiwicycles as it was on their website? They might be able to tell us where they gotit from and if it is in copyright. I have had some dealings with them as they resprayed a frame of mine earlier this year so I could ask?

edited to add:

Links back from the kiwicycles site took me here where a discussion very similar to ours took place last autumn. The designer of the suicide/right side image posts there
