Rigs are often used to drill for oil. One such example was Piper Alpha, which had several legs and went "woof", although not in the same way as a dog. Dogs are often taken for walks on a lead, and if you were in the lead you could be referred to as "The Leader Of The Pack", a song by the Shangri-Las, which was parodied in the form of "I Want My Baby Back" by Jimmy Cross. In 1977 this was awarded the title of "The World's Worst Record" by Kenny Everett of Cupid Stunt fame. Cupid Stunt is an example of a spoonerism, examples of which may currently be found in the Cycle Chat Cafe, a particular favourite of mine being "shining wit", courtesy of Rich P, a forummer whose name starts with the same letter as fellow forummer Rigid Raider.
