She was a ‘Coal Miners Daughter’, her sister is Loretta Lynn (who had a hit with a song by that name)

This is so loved by a multitude of people, as seen by reading the comments, some brought a tear to my eye

For example, on another upload, a chap tells of his younger sister, playing it repetitively on his (newly acquired) stereo
He smashed the single, his sister fell out with him for a long time

Latterly, she died, then at some point he heard it somewhere, & wrote that he would give practically everything he owned to have her back & present her with a copy of the single (I'm almost in tears as i type this)

White Horses, Robinson Cruseo, Daktari, Stingray, Belle and Sebastian...all popular tv shows for children, shown on only 2 channels tv in the 1960's, early 1970's during our school summer holidays.😉
