Went here for pre-comedian gig dinner with Mrs Browser last night and can thoroughly recommend it.
They do a pre-theatre menu which is necessarily limited to dishes they can prepare quickly, but still has a good selection of starters & mains and a desert menu to make Mrs Browser weep as she wanted one of everything!
It's only about a 2-minute walk from the Cambridge Corn Exchange so super-convenient if you are attending an event there as we were.

Ooh!!!
That's worth a look.
Off to the Corn Exchange soon for Fascinating Aida, of Cheap Flights fame.

Is that Greek place opposite the Eagle, just behind Corpus, still going? The menu was the size of an encyclopaedia, but everything looked and tasted pretty much the same.

The bit in the menu which says
'We make the sausages. The pork used is Gloucestershire Old Spot. They do not contain rusk, filler or additives.' ain't kiddin'! I have never eaten a sausage with such splendid flavour as their Chop House Coil which, while sounding like something rather iffy (oo-er missus) was an absolute delight for the palate.
