Just seen the weather and it looks like next week is winter time with a north westerly cold front heading our
way . They said the s word aswell
Im feeling cold just thinking about it and I still need to go and check my chickens are all tucked up in bed

I keep mine warm in the oven.

We have chickens and ducks. Luckily we don't have to go far to check on them. I also heard that there is snow on the way. However, I don't know exactly where its supposed to hit. I think it's in the west. That's me.

I've just looked at the forecast for the Midlands where I'll be this week and it's actually looking milder than they were saying a few days ago, and staying mostly above 0. I won't need the arctic underwear and snow tyres after all.

I noticed the Daily Express was working itself into a hysteria last week about it, predicting first 4 inches of snow, then 6. But as it was reported in the Daily Express, I took it as a sure sign it wouldn't happen.

Mine are just over a mile away at the allotment . I can normally leave them to it but ive not long put two new polands in there and one little hen keeps getting booted off the sleeping quarters so I go down to make sure the rest are keeping her warm . Im a good chicken daddy like that
