It was an attempt at a vege shepherd's pie. Have to admit it did look a bit uninviting - just not the same without the brownness - but it tasted ok.

Make cauliflower cheese. Anyway cheese is a kind of meat, a tasty yellow beef.

i used to like vege shepherds pie, in the days when i shared a house with vegetarians.

TVP mince marinaded in water, but with some marmite thrown in to give it a bite... then it's all down to making a good gravy... half a teaspoon of horseradish and the same amount of grainy mustard works a treat for really tasty gravy
