I went through Heywood at about 4 this afternoon and didn't see anyone (apart from a tipper truck driver who tried to run me off the road... Grrrr) Anyway, I was going to volunteer to go out looking for Gaz until I remembered that I don't have any lights, not even dodgy ones!

Never fear guys! i'm here!!... Just been having a few Beers to celebrate the maiden voyage!....
Tell you what tho, i'm more unfit than i thought!! i did 6 miles and was proper goosed!! to be fair, i enjoyed it immensely! altho one part of the 'untried' route was a killer! i had to get off and push, i had jelly legs!. a flatter route next time!! i am more confident now, having been out on the road, and even gonna ditch the baggy shorts over lycra! Bring on the next ride, but going ti Rhyl for a long weekend first!
