"In India, there are more selfie deaths related to trains, which Hemank and his team said are due to "the belief that posing on or next to train tracks with their best friend is regarded as romantic and a sign of never-ending friendship.""

Well if one or both of you get splatted by the train then the friendship lasted a life time at least.

I've been included in a couple of customers' selfies but have never taken one and never will, a selfie seems to me like sheer vanity.

Some of those photos give me the heebie jeebies, and i'm not actually scared of heights

I was in a Cathedral and they have a photo permit

As I am there as a guest and tourist -I have no problem with this as funds go back to maintenance

However a couple were taking Selfies, and vehemently arguing that they were NOT taking photographs - Selfies apparently do not count

I honestly don't know what that is but I have a bad feeling about it...

Do a google image search, what's the worst that could happen?*

* actually don't do that if you're at work

I only ever once took a selfie - on top of a mountain with a 35mm SLR on a tripod using the self-timer. Just as proof to my sister that I had actually climbed it.
