I 'hit the wall' really badly on one of my early rides in this very hilly area. I was so exhausted that I had to walk my bike up even the slightest of uphill gradients and rest between paces. The 29 mile ride took me over 5 hours and I collapsed when I got home and slept for over 13 hours!

When I was training for P Company I fell asleep with a 60lb rucksack, webbing, boots and soaking wet clothes on for 6 hours, face down.

In my new job I'll sometimes have to walk a lot, and sometimes jog a little to keep up with the trike, so I invested in a sports bra - it's not so much that I need the support, but I find the straps on ordinary ones tend to slip down over my shoulders under my tee shirt which is annoying. Also happens sometimes when I'm cycling. So I got a 'raceback' type, where the straps meet at the back and you have to pull it off over your head.

Being new, it's on the snug side, so I decided to try it out yesterday on my ride, and when I got home, after 85 miles, I was so tired I struggled to get the damn thing off!

What have you been too exhausted to manage?

Your fault for not advertising on here, there'd have been 2-wheeled gridlock in York with blokes trying to help you out;)

Yes, after my long walk yesterday I thought I'd just soak in a hot bath with some lovely aromatherapy stuff - however I just couldn't be bothered looking for any & so had a bubble-less unfragranced bath. Pity I couldn't have made it to Jane's hot tub!!!!!

Hmmmm. I've been thinking about this. I reckon that what you want is a couple of hooks hanging from the ceiling on the end of stout rope. Sew sturdy loops to the bottom of the brassiere. Return home, attach hooks to the loops, put arms in the air and jump off sofa or just sit down quite vigorously. I reckon this could be adapted to include an automatic tea maker in the arm of the sofa.

Ok, but what if Arch ends up stuck, brassiere half off, hanging from the hooks? She calls for help, and the people come in, to find her hanging from her new tight bra, very exhausted, hot, sweaty, topless...................

Hopefully some kind people will hear her cries for help and call in some Real Men to help.

I should have added 'and flobble to rest' as the final part of the operation.
"Flobble?" Bloody hell, you've gone and spoilt the vision now. As a true gentleman (rather than a real man perhaps.....) I forbid myself to think of a topless Arch flobbling. How very dare you?
