Ok so i bourght a winter commuter this lovely Raleigh Banana.....

So the intension was it to be a winter commuter and thats it. Unfortuantly i've sort of got a little attatched to it and plan to do a restoration. Ive just picked up a complete decal set for it so the respray can go ahead. I've found a source for some brand new, old stock weinmann calipers and brake levers. I've got some new bars and rubbed down and cleaned up the stem.

The question is do i put it back to original condition or make it into a fixie for the track?

Lots of Raleighs have Sakae parts on them, ive had two racers with Custom cranks, i just assumed it was a name Sakae used.

Edited to say, its SR Sakae of course, but you'll often see just SR on seatposts etc
