I've finally ordered my new bike. It's only taken since last Aug to come to a decision, but I got there in the end! In another 3 to 4 weeks, my best bike will look something like this (but with the SL groupset).

I so nearly bought a Planet X. I went into the shop knowing they had a med in stock - lbs bloke sugested it would be too long for me. He put on an 80mm stem for me to try - he was right but it looked silly with such a short stem, and looks are important

I then ordered a small Planet X, then realized that a small can only carry one bottle.

In the end I gave up on trying to "grab a bargain" and just went for what I really wanted. I fell for the Orbea when I first saw it - last August, it's taken me this long to come to terms with actually paying for it!
